Default Zombie guns

What do you think would be you gun or guns of choice. Personaly I would use .308 bolt action for the longer range, a .223 for mid range and a 9mm or 12 gauge for up close and personal.

This has been done a few times so far, but here we go again: shotgun for close range, .223 for neighborhood watch, and .30-06 (or .380) for reach-out-and-touch-a-zombie. That's my mix. There are plenty of adequate alternatives. But here's a word of advice: if you're working with others in planning, try to settle on as few calibers and models as possible. And get extra parts (firing pins, springs, whatever).

Small semi auto .22 carbine type, slingshot, and crowbar. Assuming we are only worried about zombies, and not healthy bad guys. Then my load out would change quite a bit.

My 870 for the up close and personal along with my Glock 17, my ruger 10/22 b/c hey....if you hit them in the noggin with it, they're dead, and probably an Ak-47 for a good 200-300 yard shot. Those are some of the most reliable guns I know, won't have to worry about cleaning them as much and in a Zombie Apocalypse, don't think you'll have a bunch of time to sit around and clean your firearms.

Mossberg 9200 Zombie Slayer, 9+1 capacity and a TruGlo red dot. I just put green synthetic furniture on it today. Handgun will be my customized Argentine Colt:

Even in a 26" barrel, I'm not sure it's gonna reach out too far!

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

Remington 870 Express, sig P226 X-Five in 9mm, that's all I could carry more ammo for two guns then for three or four different guns.

I'd sit on a roof with my 10/22 & pop their heads all day.

Oh, crap! That would be a typo on my part. Let's try .308 instead. Sorry.
