We are fortunate here. We are miles from the cities. And I think gasoline for transportation may be a problem and work in our favor, should worse come to worse? A friend of mine has 500 gallons of diesel fuel buried under ground in a secluded, secure tank on his place for example. So we will would have fuel.
I am on that side regarding age also. But still just somewhat as treacherous as I always have been! Health thanks to God is decent! Although getting "Older Ain't For Sissies"!!

I live in the boon docks and among people in the area that are true Americans not socialist liberals. As the saying goes Don't Tread on Me! (Us here in the Hills) We have access to about 1400 wooded acres in the hills where there are few small hunting cabins sparsely located. Where unless they knew where they were they would have a tough time even locating them. And they would be on our turf! We might move some but would plan on taking the fight to any looters if they would come. In addition, I have been making plans for some time. including items that I choose not to reveal and other tactical advantageous items. We in the area have spoken about protecting each other should a terrible situation ever arrive. Some farm some have livestock some can and other skills necessary to survive. And all can shoot and have no lack of resources in that area. Could even produce "Moonshine"

in case the Gentleman Jack would dry up!

If those punks in the big city or others would come to the mountains to pilfer, steal of what ever they might have some serious problems on their hands! Not mentioning dealing with the veterans who are in most of the big city areas. They could not expect any cordial hospitality or treatment from the Vets either. God Bless our Veterans!
So as some previously mentioned, preparedness and planning is a key to survival should a terrible thing happen!
God Bless America!
