Nighthawk,

A few questions for you. How do you plan to supply....feed and water....over 60 people? What is your background to train "military tactics and survival skills" as well as "firearm skills and self defense skills"?

Default Being prepared

I was not trying to start an argument among everyone about this. I truly believe that if you want to survive it will take men and women who have military experience and have been in combat to set up a camp for people to come to in time of trouble. I served 4 tours in various countries and I saw how their governments took everything from them and they tried to fight back and most of them lost. I have 17 ex military personal who are willing to help build a post where we can train more people who are interested in combat and survival tactic's. I am not saying I will lead them but we will have a committee who have experience and have been trained by the military and I know with the right kind of individuals who have the proper experience and training that we can build a good fortified position that can protect its people and supplies from any enemy that comes to take it. This I have no doubt. As far as my experience I have many years in combat zones and survival training and I have trained many soldiers over the years and also individuals who have wanted to learn survival skills, firearm skills, and combat tactics. I get my information from various poles and also from same situations I have seen in other countries and the mortality rate of those who were not prepared for a government invasion. It is also a mathematical truth that less than 10% who live in major cities will be able to survive and protect themselves due to the fact that the mass numbers of people in the cities will not be prepared and the amount of supplies will be tremendously less than the amount of people needing or wanting them. I gathered my information form various studies on the subjects. If someone wishes to discusses this further with me can. Thanks

I was the leader of a combat team for over 12 years in many countries and many situations. I was a DI for 2 years and taught survival class for 4 years. I have extensive training is all types of weapons and explosives. I have extensive experience in combat tactics in combat. I am still involved with the military as a sub contractor in survival and self defense training. With the other veterans that will help me I am more than positive we can teach other people the same thing as long as they are willing to abide by the rules of the group. There are many people who want to learn and will be willing to do whatever it takes to learn because they know how important it is. If you have any more questions about my qualifications I will be glad to give you more. Thanks

We at FTF require a detailed training record and DD-214 =P hahahaha

There is no argument, I'm asking questions and have been discussing it. How about the food, water, medical supply? My experience has been committees get in the way of operations. There is some value to group assignments for planning and development. What branch of the military were you a member by the way? Do you have any former military or are they all ex-military? Are any of them trained instructors/teacher? These are not questions to stir a controversy, they are questions based on the discussion of your OP. In your recruitment post it appeared you are just starting this project, but in your last post, it appears you have been working on this for a while and made some contacts for which you feel are valuable players

What he means is, how can you survive if you have no experience or classes in how to sit in an air-conditioned Crown Vic, getting out only for donuts and to hand out tickets, for a 20 year pension? "In other words, if you ain't a 20-and-out cop, you ain't tish."

It must truly, truly suck to be you. Miserable ******* that you are. You say other resort to name calling? You are like the pot resorting to racial slurs as it relates to the kettle. Then you bring up my grandfather. You are not even of as high quality as your average piece of chicken **** in a hen house.

AZL, I just didn't get y u r disrespecting Nighthawk. A brother in arms who's struggled with more than putting a parking ticket under a dangerously sharp wiper blade. One even more dedicated than moolighting at the mall for X-Mas during a really tough sale. Your socialist forebears -- now that'd make sense. But not Nighthawk in a preparedness forum.

And what's with the language? Geez! Speaking of class...
