At least one firearm, sometimes a back-up.
Spare ammo.
At least one knife, usually two.
A flashlight.
A multi-tool.
An accurate time piece.
Emergency cash.
I.D.
Car keys + backup.
Cell phone w/ camera.

Because of miniaturization, many of these can easily be carried concealed.

second set of keys ( duplicate of first set ); spare magazine for Keltec; folding police style combat knife; multi use tool on belt; cell phone on belt; emergency cash in money clip; wallet with ID's, driver's license, CCW permit and more cash; second wallet with second driver's license and CCW permit; sometimes, pocket change.

My pocket generally contains: wallet with cash (rarely) and cards, iPhone (w00t!), keys for house, camp, and vehicles, flash drive, knife.
