My location has to be where I live. Most neighbors have 5 acres, minimum - we have 10. We don't have tools to plow, or otherwise grow crops; would rely upon neighbors for that, until we can source the equipment. We are on a well without 'good' water, but it's water nonetheless. Our R/O system requires nothing but periodic filter replacement - so have a couple years worth of water - ASSUMING we can pump it. Eventually we'll run out of gas.

It's all really a guessing game with no good answers. We'll have to adapt, and survive, or we'll die.
