Why would a business jack up the price of a product so high they can't sell it? Before you get all excited about the price of gas now it's exactly the same as it was 40 years ago when you compare it to the minimum wage. 40 years ago gas was 40 to 50 cents a gallon and minimum wage was 1.00 to 1.10 an hour. Now gas is 3 to 4 dollars a gallon and minimum wage is 7 to 8 dollars an hour. Percentage wise it's exactly the same.

Let's add a couple facts to the conversation.

Total number of small arms owned by both military and police in America : 4,000,000 +

Total number of small arms owned by civilians in America : 270,000,000 +

Nuff said...

Edit : would anyone like to guess the outcome of an F-16 pilot ordered to drop ordinance on US citizens?

This video on Michael Ruppert's knowledge on 'peak oil' might shed some light.

My answer to the last question is hell yes he would follow orders. Soldiers/Marines/Airmen and Sailors are trained to follow orders. For the most part, they will follow orders. If they didn't they wouldn't be worth a damn. What I want to know is why in the world would you think that the leaders of our armed forces would issue such an order?

I was hoping people could read between the lines without me spelling it out.

They've already done it on several occasions. What makes you think they wouldn't?

This would be the military that we keep shrinking, right?

Every year, combat arms trained individuals ETS from the military.

You think those individuals forget all the stuff they've learned?

No thank you, I will just get worked up and offend someone.
