My Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 pistol. I have 25 round magazines for it. I am most accurate with this. I would also like my Mossberg .410 pistol grip or the 12 gauge, and then for distance I would grab my husband's Remington 721 30-06. He just bought a Ruger 10-22 but we haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

i dunno...if its them running zombies....i'm going with a shotty...best option for moving targets. surely, buckshot has at least as much skull penetration abilities as a 22 inside 50 yards?

Now that's the attitude. To be honest I can't get into the zombie stuff but I also tend to take things way to serious. But if others can have fun with it then great.

imo, zombie invasion is about killing zombies AND looking cool.

i would go with one of three distinct styles:

1) cowboy zombie slayer mine would be a bit urban cowboy with:

lever action 30-30
12 gauge coach gun SXS
cowboy style 6 shooter in 22 LR

2) tacticool assassin black leather and shades required

decked out AR-15
mossberg 930 spx
glock 17

3) the old school soldier aviator glasses and some OD green required

M1 carbine
classic pump 12 gauge (well worn 40's era)
1911


now you will have something more than the typical joe next to you in survival mode.....you're got style

think about it....there will be ladies to impress, regardless of zombies...

Nice choices long as your accurate thats what counts. Love the 30.06

This SHTF stuff is kinda fun. Mine would be my Mossberg 835, sporterized Mosin Nagant and Ballester Molina .45. 00 buckshot for the 835, I load my own for the Mosin and 185 JHP for the .45
