Looks like a good list to me. Only thing I would maybe tweek is switchin the rem m700 to .308 with the M1A or changing the m1a to a M1 garand to go with the m700 30'06 to consolidate your ammo needs
My list would be
AK 7.62x39 variant (mines romanian)
Scoped rifle in mag caliber--Mines a M700 in 7stw
I was referring to the Saiga 12 gauge with an ak trigger conversion. I have several friends that own the saiga in 7.62x39, and they don't accept standard ak mags. Having to use separate magazines makes it obsolete to me. That along with how hot they seem to run after only 60 rounds or so. If they make a 75 rd drum for the saiga ak, then i may consider it.
Im going to buy one and have it converted to accept the mags.
Already have a 12Guage listed, lol.
I own two mossbergs, and love them. I still like the idea of a semi-auto 12 gauge with a 20 rd drum though. It would be overkill in a home defense scenario, but great if you had to clear a path in an urban area.
Well I think you have the defensive and offensive area covered pretty well but I'm not seeing much for plinking or hunting arms. I think you have a couple of good rifles for deer hunting, but not seeing much for varmints or small game. Just a couple of suggestions on some calibers you might look into.
.22 rifle and pistol, great for small game hunting and great plinking round
.17 hmr great small varmint round
.243 great larger varmint round
7mm08 just because I love this round, bit stiff on ammo prices though
a 410 or 20 guage a must for a proper hunting collection.
Only other gun I would suggest not a hunting gun is a 38 snub
