Great little fire starter. Nice and light and compact. Works like a charm. One swipe and it lit up birch bark. Much easier than Flint and steel.

Unfortunately I'm not sure what it is called. I threw the package away and can't find it on the website.

It works by squeezing the side to put pressure on the striker blade and then pushing down on the rod. The harder you squeeze and push the bigger the sparks.

Does it have fuel or something? Or is it kinetic energy?

Yes it works similar to Flint and steel but the rod isn't flint.
