Default Thought This Was Pretty Cool

I just found this video online, I thought it might have some relevance to SHTF and the zombie apocalypse. I think it'd be a perfect fix for when you are low on supplies/ammo. What's everyone else think?

It is VERY unkind to a shotgun to do that. The bore is not a uniform size- it squeezes down just ahead of the shell (forcing cone) and maybe again at the muzzle (choke). That causes really high pressures.

I could see doing that if it was a life or death SHTF type of thing but not just to do it. It's cool but I would be afraid that 1) it would hurt me or 2) it would hurt the gun.

totally cool, and GREAT to know, but constant firing of those "cut" shells through the same "choked" guns would definitely NOT be something to do on a daily basis.

those shells are better left to the saw'd offs......LOL.
