I just wanted to post a pick and get some feed back. Some people say I have gone a little over board on my purchases, I just wanted to know what you guys think about what I have put together so far.

Texas is still a free state, you need some Class III goodies. An M60, Stoner 63 or MINIMI would help things out.

I think you're pretty well set, unless the Chinese send over panda bears to invade and eat the US sugar supplies.
You could always use a few dozen extra hand guns. ;)

Maybe a little something in .50 cal?

I hear that Barrett has a few interesting items this season.......

Oh, and maybe a little something "foreign" as an accent piece?

Your cache of weapons

Man, for dealing in reality, you're well set.

I would go with an assault rifle in 7.62 just in case.... and also maybe a .22

truevil1313 11-03-2008 01:22 PM

I guess I should have labled what they are.
Starting in the back, working forward.

Remington .22
Remington mod 700 7mm Mag
Savage mod 10 308
Bushmaster 5.56
Stag 5.56
Kimber .45
Remington 870 12 guage

These are just some of my fun guns I pulled out of the safe, for the pic.

fin24000 11-03-2008 03:43 PM

wow the rem in far back I would have pluged as a 270 or maybe 223.... nice

SHTF aftermath territorial guardianship

You have some really nice stuff!

Some one on this forum wisely wrote that the only time a person can have too much ammo is when they are drowning, the same probably goes for guns LOL!

Disposable guns and maybe a recurve bow and some arrows just for quiet up close action or food targets.

The 7mm would have to be a well place shot to disable a vehicle.

If money is no object get a .50 or some other heavy weaponry for maximum penetration.

If not maybe consider getting a large caliber hi power like a 338 WIN or RUM or larger.

Reloading equipment and supplies?

This reply is in the spirit of this thread of surviving a SHTF situation and holding your dwelling.

this was all i could think of

hope it helps

You need a shotgun for hunting/sport.
