I want my M1 Garand and my 10/22 but instead of the third gun I want my wood chipper.
If you are gonna make the dead even deader you might as well mulch them just to be sure they stay dead!

Zombies, huh? Well, there are many variables to consider, such as how the "infection" is spread, is it a virus or a parasite or something else? Do we have to worry about Zombie blood turning us if we get it on an open wound or in our eyes or mouth? Also, are animals effected? What about water sources? Is the ground still fertile?

Until these and other variables are answered, asking what three weapons we'd have/need/want is like asking what we'd take on a space journey, not knowing what dangers we'd encounter.

Someone remembers their logic class.

Don't over analyze it! Just think "Zombie land"

For me, my Springfield Armory mil spec, my 1917 Eddystone Enfield, and a crow bar.

Thanks for not disappointing. The inevitable appearance of the smartest-man-in-the-room, whom I spoke so glowingly of in my second paragraph, correcting this ubiquitous thread by asking the obvious.

Here's a Bud to you Mr. "But What Kind of TEOTWAWKI?" Man.

Awe hell lighten up, we are talking about zombies for pete's sake. If any logic were to be injected into this conversation the thread would have stopped at zom....never mind.

I recently got hooked on walking dead after watching the first season marathon. The zombie invasion is not on my threat list, but substitute any number scenerios for the zombies and the show is a good thought experiment. Entertaining also.

I found it very interesting that the CDC in Atlanta actually put on their website some pointers for surviving a Zed outbreak.

So, TEOTWAWKI scenarios that are extremely vague are fine by you?

So what if questions are asked? Would have asked similar questions had the subject be something other than Zombies. You can't ask "what would you take with you for a such and such", without adding more of the needed info.

Oh, and you don't have to be an ass about it.

Zombies are in. I wonder if it isn't an attempt to get people thinking about some sort of event in a pc way.
