The old style car jacks can also be used to spread doorjams and other fun stuff.

I actually have a 22 or 24 inch titanium crowbar. It's part of my end of the world kit. I should think about keeping in the car for just such a condition. Very good point sir!!

What the news won't show is up close looks at the looting. What the desperation has led people to do to live. My heart goes out to them as well. Already a poor country. I couldn't imagine

I wonder if there are anyone in this country that's paying attention and making preparations in case something like this should happen here. More than likely they just turn the tv to a different channel or ignore that article on the internet or in the paper. My guess it's probably the same people that will cry out for someone to help them when the SHTF.

The money that Chairman Maobama pledged to Haiti is our tax money.

Thank you all for your contribution.

Hell all, RON L here - SERE SURPLUS

How do I put this without Seeming Lke a Real *******? I was there a few times inthe 70- and 80's and awalsy the same story, the Young and Very Old Suffered, No Jobs, Corupt GOV and Troops that were USELESS and always looking for a handout? I feel for the Common man there and rthe suffering will always be heaped on those that can least afford it and handle it the worst? The Red Fross Folks, wel AFTER KATRINA, they will never get another $ of my $ they sent funds the folks in Katrina needed to S America and have a poor record for doiunbg witht he $ what they say they will! I've found more to trust in most Chuch Groups and the baptist Ministry's I've seen in Africa and all over the world make me think they ar the best bet for the $! I'm not of that Chucrh, but I respect and trust the work that they do!

As someone else said no matter what we di, it will never be enough, be too late and of Course this will all be the fault of the US?
