Preppers heads up.

I was going to attach this to the fire thread, but thought it would get more views as a stand alone thread, and I definitely wanted to share something this cool.

Essentially, it's a small fire generating unit, using twigs, etc, but has a thermoelectric generator that can power USB devices.

That's pretty cool.
And this is pretty impressive
USB Power Output Max continuous: 2W @5V, Peak: 4W @5V

Turn Airplane Mode on (Turn off Cell Phone transmitting).

Will save power and suppress GPS transmission and cell tower pings.

As you head out, power is drained very quickly trying to find service.

You can get a small solar charger much cheaper. Cheaper, lighter, more compact, and you do not have to continuously feed wood in to it.

Where I live, if I'm needing a heater, chances are, solar isn't an option.
