Living in a triangle 30 miles from a city of 100,000 and 30 miles from a city of 20,000 and 21 miles from a city of 25,000, it is interesting how persons will be perceived and received as they enter rural areas. Local populations will also be in a survival mode. Would it made much sense not greeting an arrival who is heavily armed, without being equally heavily armed ?
Living one mile off a paved road , do you realize how many people already believe that civilization stops when the pavement does.
