Way too creepy man. Way too creepy.

Could be worse though. I refer back to earlier conversations...

On that last episode, I thought it was 100% bogus they "found" a cooking pot out in the swamp. There was zero other trash around and they had zero chance of surviving without a cooking pot, so the camera crew planted one nearby for them to "find". I'd bet a lot of money on that because that aspect was really fake to me.

On the other hand, all the snakes around was really freaky and snakes & gators aren't fake.

I would, by definition, NOT buy that knife just because someone famous let their name be put on it.

I don't care who's name is on it as long as it keeps me alive in that type of situation.

My point is that when companies start getting celebs to put their name on things, it usually comes off as a ploy to sell that item, for the name on it. I want something I buy to be selling itself, based on how good it is. Adding a name does not make it better, or worth more. (Except to the company who's selling it.)

i have watched every episode so far and noticed all the men are or seem to be whiney and weak,is this the continued pussification of man.
ive been hearing this other places how men are becoming more like women than women and this ahow seems to be playing on that just my observation.

I think most of the time a celebrity name doesn't make it better and is being used 100% to boost sales of an "average" product.

The Bear Gryllis survival knife does stand out a bit though in that it incorporated several survival tools into one better than had been done before. I also think that occasionally a "celeb" cares about more than just the money and this may possibly be an example where a good survival knife was developed with input from an "expert" rather than just a celeb.
