The most extreme cases ....
As I get older /slower but more analytical in thinking , various options concerning ''true'' survival are on my mind ,more and more ,given the degradation of our society as a whole . I hope and pray that it (shtf) never happens . The movie'' The Road ''with Viggo Mortensen really hit home with me..... If society is reduced to being cannabilistic ,I have only one request ....Let's eat the self absorbed , superficial ,'' Beautiful '' people first. My reasoning is this : most are way too thin ....eat more or them , they cant be tough ....too easy of a life , probably taste like the bull sh*&^%t they have been pushing all their life's ..... so lets get it overwith as quick as possible .

Interesting thought, but hopefully it won't come to that. At least not for those who are taking steps now to prepare. I recall reading an article by someone who barely survived the famine in the Ukraine during Stalin's purge. They said "Beware a man who walks down the street normally - upright and strong. He is eating well. But the only thing to eat is people."
Like I said, hopefully it won't come to that.

i dont understand. are we advocating the eating of people. i mean, if we are, i vote we go to New Jersey. all those people seem to already deep fry themselves, and the guys seem to enjoy working out so its going to be nothing but lean tender meat. the fat ones will be like low grade F. im pretty sure The Situation would fry up nicely.
on a side note: The Road sucked. i understand it was pretty bad what they were in. but to hell with playing the victim. have they made one movie where the person is prepared and not a gun toting psycho? apparently in hollywood theres more honor in dieing horribly than killing anyone who is a threat.

If I had a choice of logistics when it all goes very bad .......I want to be in hollywood ,ca . For my appetizer ....the olsen twins .....then decisions on the main course Charlize Theron or Halle Barry ? Or skip the fancy ,smancy digs ....get me a cold beer,shade tree, and dine on '' Pink'' real slowwww for the next couple of days!

I'll pass on the Soylent Green soufle. I can find enough veggies or tubers to get me by, maybe some lovely fungus too.
In the case of a drastic climate change or something, well i guess i would have to reconsider that.
I wonder, do cannibals tell their kids not to "play with their food"?
