U have the freemasons who are probably much more powerful than any armed militia, god knows what they do, but I think militias who are out open and proud to who they are can't be so dangerous.
I only ask that you move to california and bring anyone that believes the same with you. Please. "won't you be my neighbor?" Because I'm surrounded out here by people that don't understand the simplest of issues and are all for total communist control... all while the drug cartels and gangs continue to grow exponentially.

Or maybe all the couch warriors here are right, we should just do nothing and let the police (while having their budget cut more than an emo kid) continue to fight and lose by themselves. That's a smash up idea.

The way I see it, gangs are already organized, and Islam is already organized (yes here) when the SHTF the already organized have a huge advantage. They can terrorize at will. They know where to congregate and operate from.

To organize with like minded individuals to protect your self and family is smart, since we know the bad guys are ready today.

Bad mouth Militias all you want, but how long can you stand alone against a gang of any kind that is armed? Go ahead, put up a good fight but can not guard the front and back of your property at the same time without help.

I will not join one that runs around in the trees in cammo gear, not my thing. Having food, water, and way to protect them and my family is the focus. Organize watches, patrols if needed to keep bad guys out of the area, focus firepower where needed, etc...

Just my .02

this guy with the army/navy store wasnt greens ammo was it?...im just wondering...sounds like the same place i stopped in on my way outta town to work.he had a few guns and alot of surplus crap...started talking to this guy and he was telling me somthing about he and a bunch of other folks where going out in the woods to play army...but what caught my att. was the fact that the guy said they are paid 300.00bucks a day to train...of course when he started talking about bubbed up MG'S i got the fukk outta there

I think militias are a good idea. Not only that they are the right of every free man to form if he so chooses. I think guys in militias who "get it" shut up about it. I think the one's who are military wannabes are the one's who run their mouths off like a bunch of idiots. And unfortunately it is thee idiots that get the press (and we all know how "fair" the press is). You know how the old saying goes "those who can do, those who can't talk about it."

Mauser Man--I agree 100%>> those that can do don't talk about it and keep a low profile and for that reason it is very difficult to hook up with a group of like mineded people because they keep a low profile also IMO

Hello all, Responce to Old Soldier and Mauser man, A Militia or Protection group, if done on the Quiet side with good folks ya trust is the way to go! As far as Comments of More Forty Fives, seems like he's falling for the Stero-Types that the media and Gov Place on ALL GROUPS God Or Bad? I wonder if More Fourty Fives even has met or knows any Militia folks, I;'d Bet a Resounding NO! He probabaly knows some of the same Gun Shop Commando's and range Clip Board Idiots that are what folks ASSUME is what all MILITIA's are made up of? Sad, People making that judgement without fact?> OH Well to each his own and his loss?
