DefaultMil Spec Desiccant Question

I have some Mil spec Desiccant bags and am not sure if I'd be better off saving it to trade for other things if the SHTF, or sell most of it except for say 15% for future use and bartering. It is Type 2 and can be reactivated by baking them in the oven between 245-260 degrees F for 16 hours. Any Suggestions?
