That will definitely open some doors for you, but it's a bit large for packing in a BOB.

Since I work security & ride a motorcycle my BOB is always with me. I always have an extra sidearm when I carry. I'm looking to get a Voltaic backpack for my iPhone. But of all things I don't have a friggin knife

I know this is an older thread, but no one has babywipes on their list of stuff!! having spent 30+ days in the field away from running water while in the military I have come to learn that babywipes are an essential for persnal hygenie, wiping down your weapon, and a variety of other uses.

Good advice, thanks. I've heard this from other sources and it makes a whole lot of sense.

When my son was in Iraq and afghanistan one of the the things he asked for was LOTS of baby wipes for him and his buddies.

What stumps me is no one has said fishing line. And if you are a smart SOB you would have a .22 (I prefer a rifle) with a CRAP load of rounds, bag urself some small game and use its guts as bait. As for a pole....use a stick!
