Fantastic read by Larry Niven ^^^ (love all his stuff) Another one by him is "A world out of Time".

I can also recommend "World War Z" , a zombie apocalypse book that supposedly they are going to make a movie out of.

Patriots and One Second after were definitely good reads.
I just finished World War Z, it was entertaining but i don't buy into the whole 'zombie apocalypse' thing but it was still a good read.
