I'd go with a crossbow. Bolts can be remade and are great for all sizes of game

Sure , you ever seen a arrow come out of a sling shot with 80# bands ? Lots of guys killing hogs with that setup . It is endless ammo you know

The only ravaged beast on my island would be, of course, Mary Ann!

This changes EVERYTHING.

I'd take an AK, hands down. Plenty of short range power to drop damn near anything with multiple shots. The AK can run in a salt water environment without issue. The 7.62 x 39mm can penetrate shallow water to kill fish.

The same round packs the punch to get through small trees, splinter it and get building materials. Accurate enough to knock coconuts out of trees and split them open for nourishment if you aren't agile enough to climb.

The AK has a distinct report that can be heard for miles in the right conditions, so using it as a signal device in an S-O-S situation for a passing vessel is a possibility.

Loose tolerances mean that while not cleaning it would be "good", it certainly won't lead to a situation where the weapon won't effective work under duress.

Gotta go with a Remington 870 or a Mossberg 500. I'm not picky.

With unlimited ammo, I think you couldn't come up with a better system. I bet flechette rounds would work pretty well on fish as well.

Not the actress, the character from the TV show at the age she was then.
