I kinda triggered a start on another thread on the forum wrt black swan event. Basically it's an event that comes totally out of left field, that should have been expected. All swans are white... until you see the black swan.
Some think the mortgage crises was a black swan... I disagree, it was way too obvious a problem. I would consider the attack on Pearl Harbor a black swan event.
The economic issues, are very deep and the true issue is not understood by most, I believe the govt will continue forcing the system to continue for awhile... maybe 12-18 months, so probably not the Black Swan event.
Think outside of the box, suddenly the internet is shut down and the govt starts going door to door collecting firearms in the name of eliminating terrorism. Can't happen right, look right down to New Orleans before Katrina. The alleged issue with the LDS in TN being ordered to turn over their customer lists. Yes, I've seen all of the info on that, there's apparently more to that story.
Does not have to necessarily be a perfect storm of multiple factors, I believe the Black Swan will unexpectedly come out of left field and will surprise almost everybody with the intensity.
