Every payday for the last 20 years I have bought a box of what ever I could afford. Some weeks only 1 box other weeks 50 boxes. Now I have a lot. I just traded 2 boxes of 25 of some special 9mm that is very hard to get for 500 rds of 223. I have sold all my 9mm guns.

When it comes to ammunition, more is always better.

Default How much ammo?

Ridiculously large amounts would be appropriate. Also, as noted above, consider owning weapons in the caliber of your potential enemies ( ie, UN/NATO/FEMA ). That way you can always make good use of battlefield pickups on ammunition and equipment.

FG, just my opinion here.

Concentrate on the calibers that you have for now. You can always stock up spares and trade goods after you're better set up.

Ammunition prices are set to rise in May, so it's prudent to be quick.

I got a Walmart gift card from work as a safety incentive. I have a friend who works there. Put the two together and free .45 rounds at a discount.

I grab a box when I go grocery shopping. Seems the .45 fmjs are never in stock.
