i believe that was fort ontario. i have been to both before. also did multiple week long rendevoues in the southern tier

You're missing the point. It's not what you describe and they aren't promoting it as that...it is what it is.

That's like watching a hunting show that use's 4 wheelers and 7mm mags and wondering why they aren't on snowshoes with muskets....it's not that kind of show.
