I highly recommend "Rawles on Retreats and Relocation" by James Wesley Rawles. It has information for beginning preppers as well as those who've been working on it for a while. I find myself rereading it every six months or so. There's a "List of Lists" that I find particularly helpful.
It covers Urban preps, best locations for a retreat, firearms, food etc.
J.W. Rawles is the author of "Patriots", a fictional book, but a realistic primer on survival. He also runs Survivalblog. (link: SurvivalBlog.com
) an excellent resource for preparation minded folks.
