I'm driving my best friend to Houston tomorrow, where he's picking up the car he's been dreaming of for thirty years....a Shelby Cobra KR.

540 hp should get us away from trouble pretty fast!

If I had a choice, I'd take a horse. Fast, nimble, no problems with fuel or terrain in most places, they can get you to remote places a truck can't reach, and they'd be a good companion even when you're otherwise alone.
Comments are purely my opinion unless otherwise stated.

"Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birth-right of an American...(T)he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." to get away from the house cuz im tired of staring at 4 walls. i got my 1989 formula 350 firebird in mint condition for the summer, and my 2003 silverado Z71 xcab for winter or summer.

if its a shtf thing LPC's (on foot). vehicles breakdown or run out of gas or are forced through chokepoints others may be watching from a predatory perspective. vehicles in a SHTF environment... not the way to go.
