naturalnews.com is NOT a source. Wyden's piece is not the same info. The article offered by the OP suggests a result a LOT worse than Chernobyl. Unless I see those numbers in a reputable source, I won't believe them.

This is true. You guys should know enough to realize when the media gets quiet its time to pay attention.

You're actually arguing that when a story cannot be found on a credible news site, then it must be true?

Let's reason here. Assuming its true, why wouldn't our or any other govt be taking measures to prevent or contain it. Even Obama is smart enough to realize that it would be detrimental to his election.

They did attempt to contain it. They failed. So they initiated a media black out.
I'm not arguing to trust unreliable sources. I'm just saying there is something behind the lack of information.
They are not going to tell you they failed to stop the problem. They aren't going to tell you how bad it is going to get and have everyone turn on nuclear power and cause I panic.
I can tell you the stated infant information for California is right. They are having less males born and an increase in hermaphroditic births. Cows in the mid-west are producing irratiated milk and even in Massachusetts when it is cloudy, rains or snows there is a measurable increase in radiation.
The reactor is literally burning its way towards the earths core, putting up plumes of radioactive materials and dumping radiation into the ocean.

The OP is conjecture as to possibilities that might happen based upon data and information gathered from various sources. The sources from which he gleaned his information are listed, complete with links. Anyone interested can do their own verification simply by clicking on the links. Wydens' link is one of the references listed by the OP. Another link provided copies of communiques within the Japanese government. I'm not sure what sources are 'reputable news sources' these days. I don't trust any one source.
I hope the scenarios posed by the OP don't materialize. But just to sit back and call BS might be considered 'shooting the messenger.'
As to... "You're actually arguing that when a story cannot be found on a credible news site, then it must be true?"
For sure not all stories that are true are found on 'credible news sites.'

I guess I believe this COULD happen. But would require a chain of events. We also know a big rock could hit the earth and wipe out all life. Or Yellowstone could explode and wipe out most life. Or Obama could get re-elected and wipe out life as we know it. A lot of things could happen but the odds are against it.

I guess my point was politicians, elected leaders, and higher ups aren't going to drink irradiated milk on their wheaties and go about their day like nothing is wrong, are they? Just sit back and watch babies being born with glowing green eyes? I believe there is something going on at the power plant, but I can't believe NOTHING is being done about it. Maybe I have too much faith in our elected leaders.

Not that i don't think they're doing anything about this, because I believe on some level they are. However.....

You probably do have too much faith in the gov't lol

Courage is not the lack of fear, but the willingness to continue despite that fear.
