pretty sweet little thing there. Too bad its not practicle for most people to store that much stuff.

But it gives you something to shoot for and remember the old saying "Tis better to have and not need than to need and not have" And if it will keep you or or family from going hungry why not stash a little every pay day? 5 gallon buckets work great, look around and buy things slowly.

The issue isn't storage as much as it is spoilage. You will have to rotate this stockpile to keep it viable, which means you will have to have access to the oldest stuff first.

I'm thinking freeze dried, MRE type meals, Dried Peas, Grains, Beans, Rice, and anything I can vacuum pack in Food Saver bags to maintain flavor and extend shelf life.
