No I'm with you Mosin I actually liked them as well. and was fed a pretty good amount of them once upon a time. There were recipes that I didn't care for (Chicken eye la King) But mostly I liked em or tolerated them well. I actually prefered some of the older menues like franks, and even the dehydrated beef and pork patties. And actually miss the cheese spread and crackers, Penute butter as well but especially the cheese.

But for the purposes of this thread they are a bit bulky for my taste. If I had a well established supply chain for resupply they'd be awesome and if they were a great deal cheaper. I can't afford to stock enough MRE to be really useful. As for the Bob I generally go with traps for food as I go and trail mix beans rice and gravy mixes for when I can't take time to trap. One of these days though I"ll catch a sale on cheese and peanutbutter packs and the crackers and throw a few of them around in packs and pockets maybe a few for my hunting stash too.

if anything, the peanut butter will keep you from going through your supply of toilet paper

If there is one thing that I prep for, it's having enough TP. The 2 of us could probably go about 4 years without buying another roll of we had to.
I don't see what the problem is. Everybody is being nice, and getting along, and I, for one, am learning stuff. So, if you don't like the discussion, don't look at the thread. Or, simply cut to the chase, and close it.
Is there an age limit for a thread, after which we kill it?
