Those stupid ass commercials for the clothes bags you vacuum the air out of are your friend. Put dry clean clothes in, single use and vacuum the air out. You could fit quite a bit of gear in your BOB with these. Not to mention blankets and such.

I've been active duty for three uniforms now...the BDU, ACU, and ACP (multi-cam). I would wear full set of multi-cam w/ good set of boots in summer. Winter would be bits and pieces of the GEN III ECWCS(extended cold weather clothing system) with Gortex boots
