They turned out alright. The hamster bedding didn't seem to stick real well in the wax. I ended up spooning some chips from the bowl onto them and let them dry.
Cut some wood today, so I made some of it. It sure is messy. I used a stainless ladle to boil the wax in, and just dropped the sawdust in. When I tested it, it was hard to get lit, but once it lit, it burned like napalm X3

Agreed, it wasn't easy to get lot but once it got goin they burned like crazy. My gf's neighbor makes some for home fires out of Dixie cups. He puts wax in them and just lights the Dixie cup to get em burnin and uses them for the fire. Not conventional for carrying due to size but nice for home starters

I was using tea candles for the wax and I just melted them directly in the ladle, but I soon realized how flammable wax is.
