I'm not a prepper but I've always found it interesting.

I'm sure in the foreseeable future we will start sticking up on certain essentials... diapers, baby wipes, maybe MREs....

Never enough money.... *sigh*

Is THAT what MRE stands for? LOL I have read that they aren't actually a very nutritious, balanced meal. Meant more for people in combat situations who need very high calorie counts. Or something like that.... That some of it tastes like ass is just icing on the cake, so to speak. Plus they're expensive.

Yeah not something you want to eat if you're going to be sitting around. I wouldn't recommend ever eating more than 1 in a day and you need to know what you are doing, there are certain things to avoid or gastrointestinal issues are Gauranteed.

I lived on them for quite a while. I prefer to make bombs with them rather than eat em. Lol

The simple stuff is very handy especially if you don't have it.
Cord. A couple sizes
Bailing wire
Thin wire for snares and repairs
I would suggest clean round and square buckets. I picked up empty cat litter buckets very strong and good for storage and moving water.
Metal bowls
Screen wire. Wire cloth. Just a little for traps and keeping critters out
