I have found many useful items at rummage sales for a cheap price that have been listed in here. Example is a Eastwing hatchet missing leather handle for 5 bucks. It did need to have a edge put on it and I used paracord for rewrapping the handle. My point is you don't have to buy everything new and spend big money, be patient when putting together a BOB, SHTF, WROL bag. I have been putting one together for two years, take the time to shop for deals. Lastly when putting together a BOB set up your BOB for changes in seasons, i.e. I may have things in my BOB during the winter that I would not use in the summer. This will help with keeping the weight down.

Moths eat SLEEPING BAGS? You have a WOOL sleeping bag?

MICE eat sleeping bags- if you are not careful how you store your gear.

Me, I use organic mouse control.

Lola exceeded the bag limit on mice and moles. She has been chasing rabbits and herding deer.

I want either less corruption or more opportunity to participate in it.

Came across this article today. Obviously is not directly BOB related, but some good ideas you could modify if you haven't seen them before.

Hey thanks for posting the link, I think the antibiotic one in single doses using straws was my favorite. You can actually use that idea for all sorts things.

What a Sleeping Beauty -- bet she knows it too. Now we need a picture of Breeze, please!

Try this instead...
http://www.minimus.biz/Safetec-Triple-Antibiotic-Ointment-Packet-P02-0125904-1000.aspx

I happen to have three Water-Jel Bacitracin packets in my GHB but the above are just as good if not better. Note that medical supplies need not be brand names -- as long as the active ingredients you want are in the product in the strengths you want buy the usually much less expensive generic brands.

Minimus.biz tends to have more variety and a little better prices IMHO. These are EXCELLENT sources for GHB/BOB supplies grasshoppers. Use them for inspiration but make a list and check it twice before you order.
