Books for "going off the grid"
 

We have talked about some reading in this area- would like to create a spot for folks to post books they would suggest to others about "rolling yer own" power in any form.

Just ran across this one- not complete, but a good basic intro- and right now there are 2 copies up on Amazon at a penny plus shipping-

"Renewable Energy for Your Home" by Alan and Gill Bridgewater.

This is kinda like how to be a professional mountainman. I don't believe its in print, but I bought two of em used last year.

I would think a complete set of the Foxfire books would be valuable.

I'd love to know how to build a legit wind powdered generator. Think that would be awesome regardless of its applications.
