Default American Mountain Man Encampment

There’s an ‘American Mountain Man’ Encampment at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, NY this weekend. I never heard of them before. I thought some of you guys might be interested in them:

Sorry I'm so late to this. Did you go and check it out?

I have a couple good friends that belonged to that. One got me started in black powder, he used to be heavily involved until wife number two. If you get a chance check them out.

I'm not sure if he is still active in it. Hell not even sure if he is still alive, but one of The Oak Ridge Boys was a member

It's a good way to learn survival skills and have some fun too. I've seen some encampments and I always seem to learn something.

No, I missed it. We've got enough Mountain People around here anyway.
