There are some Amish up in Wisconsin that hunt near where I do, I have
spoken with them on occasion. They use modern bolt action rifles, if they
ever get around that "turn the other cheek" thing I would not want to be at
the wrong end of their rifles...

Humm? They enjoy the freedoms that Patriotic Americans have died for. They have the rights to own a rifle? That said they refuse to defend our Country or our Constitution.

I'm thinking they choose to give their allegiance to the One who died for them rather than the many, I for one cannot find fault here.

Freedom of religion, many Quakers and I am sure a few Amish have
served over the years they are often medics and support personnel.
I get it I don't have issue with it either.

there are many in the armed forces that also serve without fighting but still believe in our country, but want nothing to do with combat or fighting, by serving as chaplains.

read the story or see the movie about Srgt. Alvin York during WWI. he was very conflicted about his religious beliefs and killing in combat.

On a far more serious note, how do you watch 360 degrees, 24-7? how do you prevent somebody just driving up to your place, with RR ties or whatever arranged to stop rifle fire? What will you do about Molotov cocktails or snipers? People are very, very naive about what they can accomplish, defense-wise ( and about how desperate people will be, if shtf! )

What will you do if a large group of unarmed, desperate women and children approach your place, and just CAN'T leave? too weak, etc, to go any further? Gonna shoot them all? what will you do about all the contagious diseases? what will you do if the entire neighborhood, or your prairie/woods burn?
Any good looking women in that group?
