The crow and the coyote are two of the smartest creatures to be found. They couldn't be wiped out if we tried. As for as hateing them far be it. I respect their abilities and love hunting them. Won't eat either of them but then again they probally are as clean as a chicken. Its the thrill of the hunt not the kill and if I were a predator I'd rather die quickly from a bullet than from disease or injury.

Its typical non hunters or weekend hunters that live in town that do not understand how hard coyotes, coydogs and wild dogs can be on game, even birds that nest on the ground. Coyotes also eat the young game animals that we like to harvest when they grow up. They kill they anything they can take down from young calves, goats, sheep, your pets along with children if given the chance. In many states, farmers/ranchers carry rifles all the time just for the purpose of dropping a coyote, coydog or just a plain ole feral dog that can be more agressive to people. Now there starting into major cities, running at night lay'n low during the day like in new york city and chicago.

Didn't know they're in the cities, but makes sense. There is plenty of deserted buildings and overgrown lots, and they're plenty smart enough to know that there is no hunters around. This could have a silver lining and wake up the city slickers to the importance of hunting. Still not good.

I'm one of those weekend hunters who live in town but I have a bunch of friends who live outside of the city and have cattle and coyote hunting is my favorite type around. But they run around my neighborhood all the time. I just wish I could catch one of the suckers out when I have my bow with me

Zombie thread- original poster got his answer FIVE YEARS AGO. Closing due to the choking cloud of dust associated with anything this old.
