I am ready cause Sept. 1 is opening day of Dove season. And that is a Texas holiday. Then deer season. Opens Oct. 15th for bows. And Nov 1 rifle. And deer season runs until Jan. 6 .
And this is also going to be my little girls first year sitting in the deer stand with me. And that is what hunting is all about , passing it on to our children.

Default it's always hunting season

we planted our spring plots {peas)back in april ....moved some box stands around .....found quality hunting spots for new members....so now im bushhogging /cutting trails ,getting feeders in shape ..........killing umpteen thousands of red wasp ,this is the worst ive seen for big nest ! we will plant our fall plots around late september /early october. I love hunting east tx ,but Im looking forward to mid november ,traveling to south Ga to hunt deer with dogs . good hunting to all and my hopes for a safe ,productive season ...powg

I'm really looking forward to the quail and pheasant season opening here in Oklahoma. I like hunting deer but love to hunt the birds. I like moving around when I'm hunting. We've been out scouting around already and think we know where the birds are gonna be...
