Default whats a good state 4 a DIY hog hunt?

If we had em here like they have down south I would not be wanting to go out of State - I could go to FL but my mother is married to a GIRLY MAN! who would not like a dead hog hanging in his garage. So thats out.Any States close to Wis.

I am not aware of any states allowing pig hunts on public land outside the established deer seasons. You can hunt pigs on private land year round as long as you have landowner permission. I believe TX would be the easiest state for an out of towner to find a place to shoot some pigs for population control. Do some internet searches to get started.

While there are pigs in MS, for some reason it has the lowest population levels of the Gulf Coast states.

Wild Hog

With the extreme heat in the southern states wherever you might hunt, I would think you would need to gut, skin, quarter the pig, and get it on ice as soon as possible after shooting it.
