I could make a list of a bunch of guns i have, or "have", or wish I had. Why would one feel compelled to provide that infornation freely? Do you feel the need to show off? Is it some immature game of oneupsmanship?
Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

What JP said or I like the Bushnel 3200 Elite. It is way good enough for a 30-30 but a half decent 4 power would probably do everything you need done and hold up. If it is a Win 94 you have to worry more about your mount. A popular set up on tue 30-30 levers is see through mounts. They offer an option if the scope gets fouled or close range.

Get the shot gun...the 30-30 isn't much over a 100 yd. rifle anyway..use the iron sites, the way the gun was ment to be used.. JMO.. Good luck

I bought the Nikonn Pro-Staff 3X9X50 last year and so far its been on three different rifles. I have had no problems with it so far,,,,and Im getting ready to buy another one for my 45-70. For 200.00 dollars its hard to beat!
