True, Skullcrusher!
In my part of north Idaho rabbits & hares are very rare to find so our beags
have been left home when we hunt & served as "intruder alarms" instead!
But, my (dog sitters) took-up r/v travel in the fall last year and were not
able to host Jethro. In Idaho it is also illegal to use dogs to find big game like
one would do with rabbits or hares, but as long as my dog is tethered to me
by a short leash it is "ok"...(but, I may have to explain the situation) if a
fish & game officer met me in the field! And you may have heard about the
"wolf problem" here... We have not seen any "yet"...but Jethros beagle nose
and ears will warn me of them like he did of a passing hunter & a deer when
I was hunting elk! |
