Its kind of upsetting to me actually. If I lose my issued pack and don't think to buy it from a private seller, the government will charge me probably close to $200 to replace it.

Go on eBay and get one for sixty bucks. Waste at its finest.

200.00??? more like 6000.00 by the time they figure cost overruns and schmooze money government don't by nothing for 200.00

like was said msrp is very expensive

Need gear and supplies for weeks??? They are great.. As a day trip pack. Too big.

The ALICE is a lot smaller than the ILBE. And far less comfortable. Its more like a regular day pack whereas the ILBE is a full-on hiking pack.
