I like the idea it would be great for field hunting, and the mirror blind screams redneck genius.

I thought we were talking about an actual trailer up on stilts. Me personally I use a big piece of burlap style cloth with camo print gives me some flexibility, or I use an old truck top we put brush on and just sit in that.

Yesterday I got a good amount done. I stripped down/cut off all the unwanted items on the trailer, and then welded on the front support upright, and cross braces on the other two uprights.
I then set the blind base on the trailer, and after centering it,welded it to the trailer uprights.

Before-

After-

Today,I went and picked up the door for the blind, and then cut 18" off the trailer tongue so it will fit on my bigger trailer attached to my 4 wheeler. I also cut and welded cross braces for the floor on the base.
I'll have to wait til Wednesday before I can start on the walls. I'm low on argon, and need a new hose for the tank.

Pretty awesome!! I see plenty of room for 12 volt marine batteries and a power inverter in that box also. Mini frig, fan.....

Hey TX, that is some pretty impressive work. Can't wait to see the finished job.

I didn't get to work on it yesterday, but I did get some tubing cut for the outer walls.
Today,I welded all of it together. It's a lot harder to do by myself,I have to keep checking everything for being square.
But I got it done.I still have to weld the framing for the windows, door, and the roof supports.I'll also brace all of the walls in each corner since it sets up so tall, the wind will be bad trying to tow this thing to the lease.

Thanks
The metal is cold rolled. It's an odd size though-41 7/8" x 10'. The metal place I'm getting it from makes corrugated sheets, and I guess all of their flat sheets are the same size that they form the corrugated sheets from.
The good thing is,they have all the brakes/shears in house, and I think the guy is going to help me out with some of the sheet metal stuff.
I haven't messed with too much of that stuff, but I learn fast!
