Speaking of laws, check your state regulations. Many areas prohibit shot larger than #4.
In Ohio I think it's nothing larger than BB

The landowner had to loan me a snowmobile to get out and set up my pop up blind. I hope the snow melts in the next two weeks.

First time I ever even rode a snowmobile, on April 14. Global warming my fanny!

PA's "Gobbler Gettin'" time begins 5:44 am EDT, Saturday, April 27, 2013. Can't wait, I'll be out scoutin' this week.

That is the first day I'll be able to get out to hunt.

I use 2 3/4 out of my remington 1100, i shoot #5 shot remington magnums, and its not about "best" out there, its about what patterns the best for your gun.

Check with your state Turkey hunting regulations, here in Missouri #4 shot is the largest shot legally used for turkey hunting.

My past hunting experience with #4 shot in a 3 or 3 1/2 12 gauge mag has been more than enough power for putting that turkey on the table
Good Luck

I'll be driving 2 1/2 hours tomorrow morning to get to the Pocono Mts. for a full day of preseason scouting. Really looking forward to it!

What a beautiful day in the Pocono Mts. Not only was the weather fabulous, partly to mostly sunny highs in the mid-60s, with a light breeze. The two places that I really enjoy hunting, served up 4 nice gobblers for me to ogle and fantasize about for the next 2 day

The only things standing between me and some great turkey hunting are about 58 1/2 hours, God's grace and the NFL draft!!

I haven't turkey hunted in years but when I did I used a Model 12 Winchester with a full choke and 2 3/4 shells with #4 shot.
