Many European countries make combination guns as they are popular over there. Many don't know that Marlin made one like the savage model 24. A couple companies make single-shot guns that have inter-changeable barrels. Or there is the Judge or Governor type guns. There are many inserts available for shotguns that allow you to shoot many different calibers in your shotgun. Your very best option is to buy three or four guns to handle different shooting situations.

I am lucky enough to own an older Savage 24, .22LR/20ga. All around great gun. Looked at the new model 42. I am to traditional to like the looks of it. Don't know why they changed it from the classic look. And it only comes in 410, not 20 or 12. There are companies that make the like gun in varied calibers and shotguns, just can't remember where I saw them. Good luck in finding one, a great ranch rifle.
