The following states possibly interest me for some whitetail hunting as a non-resident.
ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH, KY

But, I want to use my centerfire rifles, hopefully throughout the state.

Sorry bud but michigan has boundaries for huting with rifles. the north part of the state allows all rifles and shotgun. while the southern part only allows shotgun's. I forget the exact boundaries because where the two places i hunt i know 1 is shotgun only and the other i can use rifle or shotgun its far enough up north

I have hunted all over Canada and the USA. Saying you will not hunt without a rifle is rediculus. I hunt ILL. every year with a muzzleloader, and take a 150 or better every year.

Illinois sucks, all you can use is shotgun or black powder.

Shows how good you are with black powder. I am comfortable out to 300 yards??

I never said i didn't like black powder. I love mine and have two of them. Both dead on at 200+ yards. But where we hunt it is tight woods and hills. How is a 200 yard shot going to benefit me if i can't see that far? Shot gun is prime were we currently hunt, but i would like to have a nice area to high power rifle hunt since i have a vast array of them.

Also i was reply to this topic because the guy was talking about wanting a place to use his center fire rifle to hunt. Illinois is not the place to be for that.

This is what I have so far.

The following states possibly interest me for some whitetail hunting as a non-resident.
ND =
SD =
NE =
KS =
MN =
IA = no centerfire rifle
MO =
WI =
IL = no centerfire rifle
MI = has boundaries
IN = only pistol caliber rifles
OH =
KY = Yes centerfire rifles are legal

But, I want to use my centerfire rifles, hopefully throughout the state.
