Since buying it I have been tempted to restock my Savage because the injection molded stocks they come with are kinda cheesy, but it shoots too well to temp fate.

Properly torquing the mounts, rings, and action bolts along with properly aligning and lapping the scope rings makes a huge impact on the accuracy.

My partner's nephew took a shot with my Savage and dropped a squirrel. I did not range his shot but it was somewhere around 200, and he had never fired it before that shot.
