It might be a fox squirrel. From the pics on wikipedia that looks about dead on, but then again the page says fox squirrels aren't territorial, and this one definitely is.

It's big though, like I said about the size of a small cat (a little bigger than a yearling, but not quite the size of a full adult cat). I'll see if I can get a picture of it to show you guys.

i bought a couple .177 pellet rifles (one being a gamo whisper, a 1000fps plus shooter) before my .22lr ...and i just wanted to add they are about as loud as .22's...cause they're breaking the sound barrier with a lil crack....just an fyi if you're getting one and neighbor complaints are of concern....

i think you should wait til he's in the wall, and then gas him with nitrous or a big helium ballon.....then when he comes wobbling out, you can just walk up and kick em as far as you desire.....and as humanely as possible
