Shotgun slugs on hogs
 

I am going hog hunting with my mom two weeks from now and would like to get some opinions on how effective shotgun slugs and buckshot are on hogs.

Shotgun slugs are very effective on hogs at 100 yards or less. Personally, i would not use buckshot on hogs.

Fort Leonard Wood army base will let you on base to shoot hogs but you have to use slugs so they must do the job

Yes, dozens of them, mostly with a .50 muzzleloader.
